Our history

In the year of 1903, in Frankfurt, the HDI Group was born

The Haftpflichtverband der Deutschen Industrie, quickly joining the top three insurance groups in Germany.

In 1996, the organization undertakes an important transformation, taking control as a holding of a young and dynamic company - Talanx. Within this structure, HDI established itself as a flexible multi brand group, with a strong enough capital to face a highly competitive market.

Classified as AA (Very Strong) by Standard & Poor’s, as well as A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best, both important financial rating companies, today the HDI Group, through its international branch Talanx International AG, is present in several countries that recognize its organizational structure as solid and renowned.

All this success comes from a simple idea: for the Group, its greatest asset is the relationship with its customers. Because of that, all of HDI’s professionals are highly specialized in analyzing each individual case, considering lifestyle, culture, socioeconomic conditions and environmental risks, offering solutions for people from different origins, but with a common wish: protection.

With this we were able to arrive in Brazil over 30 years ago, founding over 60 subsidiaries and offices in several cities throughout the country, always adapting ourselves to the demands of the national market.

Currently, our main product is HDI Auto Perfil, an insurance that became largely renowned for its uniqueness. But our trademark is still HDI Bate-Pronto, an extremely fast claims service system, focused on efficiency.

And so we affirm our compromise of keeping an increasingly close relationship with you to offer the products and services most suited to your needs, guaranteeing complete protection to those you love and to all your belongings. You can always count on us!
